Our sugar bush begins operation starting last Sunday of February until mid-April

Weekend activities include:

  • Watch the sap being collected in the buckets.

  • Visit the syrup shack to see and smell the sap being transformed into maple syrup. We still produce our syrup using wood burning fires, and bottled it on the premises.

  • Enjoy a pancake or a full sugar bush meal.

  • Have a taste of the taffy on the snow.

  • Horse drawn hay rides through the bush.

  • Nature walking trails.

  • Visit the petting farm.

  • Go on the giant slide, double slide, enjoy the old fort or the view of the farm from the lookout.

  • Several play parks and structures are also provided for your enjoyment.

    • Tapping demos starts at 11am
    • Learn how the maple tree was tapped by our ancestors to how it is done today.
    • See how innovation has changed the equipment used in the production of maple syrup
     
    Easter Weekend
    ( Friday to Monday)
    Call ahead for hours - Reservations needed Easter Sunday
  • Good Friday, Saturday & Easter Sunday: Egg hunt at 11am - 2pm
  • Enjoy the nature trails and collect clues for the final question on our quiz
  • All money collected will be donated to C.R.C. (Cumberland Resource Centre)
  • Plus all our regular weekend activities!!
