Located east of Orleans, Ontario, Proulx Sugarbush
and Berry Farm has been in the business of farming and providing
farm entertainment for its visitors since 1920. Now in the
3rd generation, the farm has a range of events and activities
for visitors of all ages from the Pancake House to the Mysterious
Forest.
Farm History
It all started in 1920 when our grandfather, Napoléon
Proulx purchased the farm and started a dairy farm, strawberries,
raspberries and the maple syrup, which he bottled and then
traded with other neighbors.
Thirty seven years later, our parents, Gérard &
Pauline Proulx took over the dairy operation which included
the sugar bush. With the help of 6 children, they operated
the pancake house which now still serves the traditional sugar
bush meals, the now 3rd generation house recipe home made
pancakes and lots of 100% pure maple treats.
Also, thirty seven years later, François & Gisèle
Proulx and their 2 daughters have taken over the business
of the sugar bush, pancake house and have returned to the
farming of strawberries, raspberries, yellow sweet corn and
offer a Maple Fest, a Pumpkin Festival and now a ''Get Fresh
Strawberry Festival'' .
All this and more are offered to you, so please come and join
us with family and friends for a day in the country minutes
from the city.
